Spectators

Amendment to the start location for the seafront stage on Saturday evening (issued 16:15 22nd April)

We’ve had to move the start of the seafront stages on Saturday evening. It’s now opposite Connaught Gardens on Marine Parade East. Postcode CO15 6JB.

There will be viewing areas overlooking the stage, which will start opposite Hazlemere Road Car Park, which will be used by the rally to assemble the cars. We predict the best viewing will be near the start. There is no charge to visit the Saturday viewing areas.

Saturday 22nd April 2023

The seafront stage in Clacton was a great success last year and will run again in 2023 in a lengthened format.

Sunday 23rd April 2023

There will be dedicated spectator areas on two separate stages, each run three times. Facilities will include catering, toilets and programme sales.  The charge is per location, per car (inclusive of passengers). Please note tickets are not transferable between the two spectator stages, but by retaining your ticket you can leave a spectator area and return to the same one later in the day.

If you wish to visit both spectator areas you will need to pay the parking fee at each.

Wick Road

This will be the first stage on Sunday morning.

Parking will be charged at £10 per car.

Ship Hill

This will be the final stage of each loop. As the longest stage on the rally will it be decisive in determining overall and class results?

Parking will be charged at £15 per car.

Dogs

We welcome well behaved dogs, strictly on leads at all times, with responsible (mess collecting) owners. Dogs may find the sudden loud noise of rally cars unsettling.
Please consider very carefully whether such an environment is suitable for your dog, based on your knowledge of your pet.

Drones – these are incompatible with the rally and may cause it to be stopped.
Please leave them at home
