The rally weekend is only just over a month away and we’re pleased to announce details of the spectator viewing.
On Saturday 27th April the seafront at Western Esplanade, Clacton will be bustling as everyone sets-up and gets ready for the rally the next day. Last year there was a wonderful atmospehere as competitors, their support crews, locals and visitors mingled in the sunshine.
At 18:00 the cars will be flagged-away by Giles Watling M.P. at the ceremonial start.
On Sunday 28th April the service area will be busy again, with the cars leaving from 08:30 before returning twice during the day for service. The spectator experience will be enhanced with two giant TV screens bringing you live coverage of the stages.
For people who wish to see the cars at competitive speed we’ve improved the facilities at Ship Hill with VIP Hospitality available plus a PA system in the general spectator viewing area, introduced an additional spectator area at St Mary’s and have Wick Road viewing available again.
